The Blues Guitar Method

Stop Playing Scales.
Start Playing the Blues.

The stage-tested system for intermediate guitar players who are tired of sounding like they're practicing. Break out of the pentatonic box and play music with phrasing, intent, and feel.

No theory overload. No rabbit holes. Just the mechanics of real blues playing.

Phrasing Over Patterns

Everyone knows the pentatonic shape. Very few know how to construct sentences with it. We don't teach you a list of licks to memorize; we teach you how to hear a note in your head and make your hands find it instantly on the fretboard.

Physical Mechanics First

The difference between a player who sounds musical and one who sounds rigid is physical. Three-finger power bends, controlled wrist vibrato, choked notes. If you've ever hit the right note but had it sound entirely wrong, this is why.

The Jam Session Test

The ultimate goal isn't playing alone in your bedroom. It's having the confidence to walk into a local jam session, plug in, and hold your own over a 12-bar blues without panicking and falling back on the same three licks.

Your Instructor

Stop memorizing scales. Start learning what actually works on stage.

Travis Feaster is a working touring professional. Signed to Mystic Records, toured alongside Daughtry and Walter Trout, and has stood on stage with John Mayall, Taj Mahal, and Chuck Berry.

He's been playing blues for real crowds for nearly two decades. When he talks about what works under stage lights—in front of people who know the difference—he's not talking theory. He's talking direct experience.

Travis teaches the way serious musicians talk to other serious musicians. Plain language, no fluff, straight to the stuff that actually changes the way you sound when you plug in.
